Issue by vanessa h: Is the registered proprietor liable as well as the driver at the time of the accident?
Hello there,
Is the registered proprietor also liable at the time of the accident who is different from the driver?
I request this cuz, based on the vehicle code sections posted by the DMV in CA. both are accountable…
Since my accident I’ve been in significant recovery of about a 12 months and a half have a lot of bills…..
I was hit (T-bone in a sedan)by this more mature few that were driving (a sedan) and there are on SSI.
They have confined insurance policy 10/30/five so did I whole protection which I learn that meant practically nothing with out uninsured motorist….not adequate to go over my expenditures.
The registered operator is the 1 with the $ $ $ …but effortlessly number of days right after the incident they adjust possession on the title of the auto that hit me which transpires to be a new vehicle completely paid out at the time.
I referred to as the Sacramento workplace at the DMV they said that I can go after due to the vehicle code area that CA has….
I suggest if this is NOT True then let us say if you have a son or daughter that brings about an accident they would go following the huge fish, the mother and father correct?
which is why insurance coverage companies supply higher coverage for this form of factors…..
Remember to support what do you feel is the registered proprietor liable as nicely as the driver at the time of the accident?
